Early Years

In Early Years learning, our programs are play based and incorporate the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and TEACCH. Discrete Trial Training (DTT) programs are evidence-based, intensive education therapy for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but are structured for children with all learning disabilities.

ABA helps children develop their social, academic, self-help and behavioural skills needed to interact with others and to cope with the challenges of everyday life. ABA takes the form of a highly structured program designed to meet the individual requirements of each child, while building the foundations for life-long learning. When incorporated with play-based activities it provides play skills such as turn-taking, problem solving, independence and builds imagination and socio-dramatic interactions. Staff model play interactions and communication to support the growth of student skills.
